Set Phasers To Yum
You know in Star Trek, when their ship is being fired upon by high-energy weapons? And you know they're forever re-routing secondary power through the wossname conduit? Here's my theory: Next time they're under attack, they should target the deflector shield, route the incoming power through the replicators and out through the transporter beam, and turn incoming phaser-fire into a million tiny blancmanges floating in space.
