As I mentioned, I was at Camden market on Saturday, standing by a T-shirt stall, and I overheard this:
"'ere mate, have you got that one in blue?"
"Nah, the Decepticon I've only got in green. The Autobot I've got in dark blue...or the purple."
Purple for Decepticon, surely. Red for Autobot. Was this your point?
No. And I suppose this is one of those things that works better when it's spoken than when it's written.
The colours were as recorded, because he was talking about the background colour, the main colour of the T-Shirt. But what made me smile was how they said it, grown men with the tone of international cockney statesment, considering the great options of the day.
My Decepticon t-shirt is maroon with the logo in yellow.
I also meant the background colours... Peter's choice is spot on. Certainly a colour I'd go for. More likely to buy an Autobot one myself, not overly wishing to promote the forces of evil, but both are, imho, cool.
Good evening ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to another episode of, "What Colour Is My Decepticon T-Shirt". Joining me on the panel this evening we have musician Jools Holland, sports personality Sebastian Coe, and our regular team leader Optimus Prime.
Gentlemen, good evening.
"Good evening."
"Good evening."
"GOOD EVENING."
Oh, and news on the film here:

That's *Lord* Coe to you. Honestly, the youth of today...
I stand corrected. But the question is, what is Optimus Prime's rank?
