Oh yikes. I've just watched the trailer for the new film remake of Bewitched Double-yikes. I probably shouldn't be prejudging too much, but this is not a good pitch for a film: "A studio is remaking the TV series Bewitched. They cast an actor (played by Will Ferrel) to play Darrin, and he happens to meet a woman (played by Nicole Kidman) who can do the nose twitch that Elizabeth Mongomery used to do. He casts her, he falls in love with her, and then guess what? It turns out she really is a witch, just like the character she's playing in the remake of the TV show in the film that we're watching which is a remake of the real TV show."
Is that a little too knowing? Is it just a little bit weak? Are we losing the will to live here, or is it just me?
